About Together combined Buildings & Contents Insurance
What’s covered?
Our Buildings Insurance includes:
The cost of alternative accommodation should your home become uninhabitable (up to policy limits).
Up to £50 towards switching costs should your current insurance provider charge you for this.
24-hour assistance from experienced claims handlers in UK call centres.
Interest-free direct debits.
Costs of surveyors and architects following an insured event.
Protection for fixtures and fittings to items such as kitchen units following an insured event.
Our Contents Insurance includes:
Home computer, home office and home entertainment equipment.
Furniture, furnishings and household goods.
Valuables and clothing.
Accidental breakage of mirrors and glass.
Replacing and fixing door locks after keys have been stolen.
Contents left in the garden.
Shrubs, plants and trees.
Personal belongings in the home, including those of visitors (£500 limit for visitors).
Working out how much it would cost to replace or repair your belongings can be complicated and time-consuming. To make it simpler for you and to make sure you’re fully covered, we offer up to £75,000 on our Premier Contents Cover.
Personal Possessions Cover (optional cover)
Personal Possessions Cover is optional and extends the cover provided by Together Contents Insurance and Combined Buildings and Contents Insurance policies. This Cover insures your items in and away from the home and is particularly useful for laptops, mobile phones, camera equipment, camping and sports equipment, money and jewellery.
We offer three sections of Personal Possessions Cover; Unspecified, Specified and Pedal Cycle cover.
Unspecified Personal Possessions Cover gives you cover with set policy limits, without the need for listing individual items up to policy limits
Specified Personal Possessions Cover would cover a specific item (or items) that cannot be included in the Unspecified Personal Possessions option (such as a mobile phone valued at more than £500). An individual item which is above the single item limit for Unspecified Personal Possessions cover would need to be listed as a Specified Item
Pedal Cycle Cover provides protection for up to 3 specified bikes (worth up to £1,000 each) away from the home
