Protect Your Home

We’ve put together some tips on what to do should you have an accident or water incident of your own – as well as lots more to help keep your home in tip-top condition.

Leaking Shower and Bath Seals

Using a sharp knife, carefully remove all existing sealant and then leave the area until 100% dry. Go back over it afterwards to make sure you’ve removed all the bumps, as these will make it more difficult to apply the new sealant.

Squeeze the new sealant along the edge between the bath and the wall and then, wearing disposable gloves, run your finger along it in one swift movement. This will push the sealant firmly onto the bath and tiles and give a curved effect to it so the water will run off.

Now ventilate the room well. Some sealants really smell and can be very overpowering!
